very solid body, almost no rust, no accidents or bondo repair

The good news:
good working 2L engine, well maintained and serviced
140k miles.
no oil leaks
Good compression and lots of power
cruises at 70 mph
good brakes
gears shift smoothly though it sometimes drops out of first gear with high revs and quick release of clutch
mechanics always say "nice bus" when being serviced
all lights work
no rust on the floors, doors, wheel wells, undercarriage, windows
good weather coat underneath the van and wheel wells
all original upholstery in great condition, no musty smells,
original carpet is clean but has a light stain.
Comfortably sleeps 3, with thick comfortable pads in the back bed
Nice sheep skin seat covers in front
Tape player, radio, iPod adaptor, nice stereo speakers
Original working Riviera Fridge. Some rust on the metal shelves but otherwise clean.
sink pump may need to be replaced but water tank is clean and solid
very tidy electric dual battery and mains switches
storage lots of storage, 2 cupboards beside the seats in the back, drawers next to fridge, large compartments under the back seats, central compartment between the front seats. Also has a luggage rack above the cab.
Pop Top in good clean condition and well sealed (mesh is patchy but still ok)
Table can be installed and removed quickly and stored under the sink.

no major rust, no prior accidents
extras: gas stove, gas heater, air mattress, electric pump, solar shower bag, retro leather case binoculars
The not so good:
fuel gauge works only when half full to full
pop top in very good condition, but with small holes in the mesh only, lining is clean and solid.
Door locks dont work from outside with the key. need to replace a simple spring inside lock. I just locked and unlocked from inside by entering from the sliding door.
paint is not perfect, a bit uneven, can be buffed and waxed to bring shine and consistency. still looks good though. There are some spots where touch ups were performed with an off colour sample. See rear photo.
some window seals and the front window scrapers are not perfect but are in acceptable shape. Spares are included.
