This fantastic bus was restored around 5 years ago to a decent standard before being treated to a fresh coat of the original Velvet Green colour.
Sporting new interior seat covers front and back from Wölfsburg West along with new window rubbers, door seals, etc this bus looks great! An original rear bench seat and (hard to find) middle seat allow you to bring the entire family along for the ride of a lifetime!
The motor is a strong dual port 1641cc that has been fully rebuilt by an experiened VW repair shop. The trans is original to the bus, in excellent working order and doesn’t pop out of any gear. A new steering bush was also installed to eliminate any of the sloppy play that most buses of this age have.
New brakes all around stop this baby on a dime with new tyres providing the grip (includes a new spare tyre too!). The rims and American spec bumpers were all media blasted prior to being repainted.
All electrics work as they should including the interior lights. The dash has never been cut and also has the original radio block off plate. The bus also has a 12 volt conversion making the lights nice and bright.
Just jump in and go anywhere!
Update:
This bus has just returned from the repair shop and has had repairs to the inner arches and inner front valance. Pretty much rust free now and ready for UK MoT and Registration once the rear lights have been wired in. Comes with new rear lights and Euro headlights.
