Description: | We are sadly parting with our lovely T25 Westfalia Joker. We're moving house soon, so have asked our friendly garage (Volks Farmers) to sell it for us. It's SORNed there at the moment while we sell it.
The garage will be able to answer techy questions you have. They recently put a new MOT on it. It has never needed any serious work to pass.
The van is 1982 petrol, auto, air cooled left hand drive. The chassis is in very good nick, though the bodywork needs a tart up. There's a dent on one side you can see in one of the photos, some surface rust but nothing serious. We've had the gearbox reconditioned and the carbuerettor cleaned and tuned up, but not done much else mechanically (replaced the odd perished seal etc). The heat exchange needs reconnecting.
The internal fitout is original Westfalia, and in good condition. The seats were re-covered in really nice leather just before we bought it. Three rear seatbelts, fold down bed, lots of storage, sink and calor gas hob. Also an upper bed - probably for kids but we've used it comfortably! There are two batteries (one brand new) and mains hook up which works.
We have a file full of paperwork including from when it was registered here after coming over from Germany.
The guys at the garage are fab, so it'll be grand to drive away as is. We're paying them to just make sure it's in good roadworthy condition and MOTd, but they could do any additional work too, e.g. repaint, if you wanted.
